Daisy Edgar-Jones and Phoebe Dynevor were the stars of the night at Estée Lauder’s Maison More Celebration, held at the famous Chateau Marmont during Grammys week. The beauty brand transformed the hotel’s first floor into a playful, immersive space to celebrate its newly reformulated Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation, which now promises 36-hour wear and enhanced skin benefits. The update also includes 70 shades, the most in the line’s history, according to Estée Lauder.

Guests entered through the hotel’s classic staircase, immediately greeted with margaritas and virgin palomas. A bellman offered keys to suite 10, each tagged with a note saying, FEEL FREE TO DISTURB. The lobby doubled as a beauty studio where attendees could get shade-matched for the new foundation. Nia Long, one of the brand’s ambassadors, called the setup cute. This is such a cute concept. I love it, she said while watching the bellman from a makeup chair.

Daisy Edgar-Jones, who was recently named a global ambassador for Estée Lauder, spoke about her connection to the brand. Estée Lauder has always represented confidence and individuality, she said. My earliest memory of the brand is my mom putting on Advanced Night Repair before bed every night. For me, that felt so iconic. And when I bought my first one myself, I felt like, ‘Wow, I’m a woman now.’

On the foundation, she added, I often leave the house for hours on end and never have time to come home and retouch everything. I’m a very low-maintenance person—I need it to last.

Phoebe Dynevor, known globally for Bridgerton, also attended the celebration, drawing attention for her stunning presence alongside Edgar-Jones. The event was filled with playful touches, including wooden phone booths with rotary phones, oversized Jenga and Connect Four games, a branded pool table, and a mirrored photo studio where the word “More” repeated throughout the space.

Karlie Kloss, another ambassador, praised the creativity of the event. Every room I walk into, I’m blown away by the imagination. There are so many unexpected little surprises behind every corner, she said. The night ended with a dance floor lit by a disco ball, with Kloss noting, Estée herself would have loved this.

Edgar-Jones is preparing for a busy year on screen, including her role as Elinor Dashwood in the upcoming Jane Austen adaptation Sense and Sensibility, directed by Georgia Oakley and set for release in October. Dynevor has her own projects lined up, including the celebrity thriller Famous with Zac Efron.

The event showed how Daisy Edgar-Jones and Phoebe Dynevor continue to captivate audiences both on-screen and off. Their poise and style at the Chateau Marmont celebration highlighted their rising status as international stars. What do you think about the new foundation and the fun, playful setup at the event?
