Daisy Edgar-Jones is stepping into a big new chapter in her career, and she’s doing it with confidence and style. The English actress recently shared behind-the-scenes glimpses on social media, including a relaxed photo of herself in a plush bathrobe while applying makeup.

Fans have been buzzing over these shots, which come after the launch of her first campaign as a global ambassador for Estée Lauder.

The partnership was celebrated with a glamorous gala at the iconic Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. The event, themed “Maison More,” highlighted the brand’s reimagined Double Wear Foundation and brought together a high-profile crowd. Edgar-Jones wore a white feathered mini dress by The Attico and mingled with fellow ambassadors Karlie Kloss and Imaan Hammam, as well as her close friend and Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor.

Speaking to Vogue, Edgar-Jones reflected on how her relationship with makeup has changed over the years. I used to use makeup to kind of hide or cover up, but now I use it to bring out my inner confidence and better express how I’m feeling, she said. ž

She also shared a personal connection to the brand, noting that the scent of Advanced Night Repair, a serum her mother used, reminds her of becoming a woman. She even revealed a quirky beauty habit: using the same brown nude eyeliner for both her eyebrows and lips because it’s so handy.

The gala itself was transformed into a playful, vintage-inspired space. Guests could try personalized color-matching stations and explore creative setups like phone booths. Later in the evening, the lounge turned into a dance floor, though Edgar-Jones spent much of the night catching up with friends she personally invited. It’s so cool being here tonight to celebrate in the most iconic location, she told Vogue. She added that having her inner circle at the event made it feel like a proper celebration.

This partnership with Estée Lauder comes as Edgar-Jones has a busy year ahead. She has been drawing attention on the fashion circuit for her “boho-chic” street style and Gucci front-row appearances. Her acting work is just as full. She is preparing for the September 2026 release of Sense and Sensibility.

In the new Jane Austen adaptation, directed by Georgia Oakley, Edgar-Jones will play Elinor Dashwood, sharing the screen with Esmé Creed-Miles and Caitríona Balfe. She is also starring in the heist thriller Here Comes the Flood alongside Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson. Balancing period dramas and high-stakes thrillers, Edgar-Jones is showing her versatility and building a strong reputation as one of her generation’s top talents.

With this new beauty deal and a packed acting schedule, Daisy Edgar-Jones is proving she is ready for bigger stages and bolder roles. What do you think about her new look and upcoming projects? Share your thoughts in the comments.
