Dakota Johnson Turns Up the Heat in All-Black at Calvin Klein NYFW Show
Dakota Johnson was the epitome of “cool girl” chic as she arrived at the Calvin Klein Fall/Winter 2026 runway show during New York Fashion Week on Friday, February 13. The 36-year-old actress joined a front row of fashion heavyweights, including Lily Collins, Alexa Chung, and K-pop sensation Jennie, to witness the iconic American brand’s latest collection.
For the event, Dakota chose a minimalist yet striking interpretation of the brand’s Spring 2026 ready-to-wear line, maintaining her status as a global style ambassador.

The Fifty Shades alum opted for a look that balanced structure with comfort, a hallmark of her personal aesthetic. She was seen chatting with fellow guests and photographers, appearing radiant despite the chilly February temperatures in the city.
Her appearance at NYFW comes just a few weeks after she took over Paris Fashion Week, where she sat front row at the Valentino Haute Couture show alongside close friend Lily Allen.
Dakota has been increasingly visible in the fashion world lately, often choosing pieces that lean into the “quiet luxury” trend while still maintaining a bit of her signature edge. Earlier this week, she was even spotted on a casual coffee run in NYC, sporting a red scarf and leather jacket that proved she is just as stylish off the red carpet as she is on it.
Aside from her fashion week festivities, Dakota Johnson has been navigating a major new chapter in her personal life. Following her split from longtime partner Chris Martin in the summer of 2025, she has recently been linked to musician Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury.
The pair has been spotted on several intimate dinner dates in Los Angeles and New York, with sources noting that they were seen holding hands and smiling at each other during a recent outing in late January.
Professionally, Dakota is entering one of the busiest periods of her career to date. She is currently preparing for the release of the highly anticipated thriller Verity, an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel. In the film, she stars as struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh alongside a powerhouse cast that includes Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett. The movie is scheduled for a late 2026 release and is expected to be a major box office draw.
In addition to her acting roles, Dakota continues to grow her production company, TeaTime Pictures, which she co-founded to develop independent and female-led stories. She is also set to make her directorial debut later this year with a project she has kept largely under wraps. Between her fresh romance, her directorial ambitions, and her slate of upcoming blockbusters, the second-generation star is clearly embracing her most liberating era yet.
