Daredevil and Jessica Jones Are Back in Action in ‘Born Again’ Season 2 Teaser
Marvel fans have a big reason to celebrate: Daredevil: Born Again is back with a brand-new Season 2, and Disney+ has just confirmed it will premiere on March 24, 2026. A new TV spot has given viewers their first glimpse at what’s coming, and it’s already stirring excitement. According to Marvel, the show is now moving on a yearly release schedule, and plans for Season 3 are already in motion for next year.
The teaser focuses on a reunion fans have been hoping for: Matt Murdock teaming up with Jessica Jones, once again played by Krysten Ritter. This marks Ritter’s first time returning to the role since her own show ended in 2019. Speaking at a press event, Charlie Cox reflected on the pairing, saying, just by the nature of who Jessica is and who Matt is, they both give as much as they get. He added that the actors were thrilled to finally bring these two characters back together on screen.

Brad Winderbaum, Marvel TV head, explained that Jessica Jones will appear in several episodes of Season 2, similar to how the Punisher was featured in the first season. Cox emphasized that the dynamic between the characters remains intact. We wanted to be tongue in cheek, take the piss out of each other, but also get down to business and make sure that we’re serving the story appropriately, he said.
This season promises a darker, grittier storyline as Wilson Fisk, now the Mayor of New York, uses his power to track down Daredevil. Matt must work in the shadows to fight Fisk’s growing empire. The show’s storyline is being described with the themes resist, rebel, and rebuild. Fans will also see familiar faces like Karen Page and Bullseye returning, along with a new villain, Mr. Charles, played by Matthew Lillard, who is set to challenge the Kingpin.
Both Cox and Ritter have been keeping busy outside Daredevil. Cox has lent his voice to the Spider-Man: Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man animated series and is also appearing in future Marvel films. Ritter shared that returning to Jessica Jones felt like a gift for fans. I love the character’s raw strength and how she helps people who feel like outsiders, she said.
The creative team includes Dario Scardapane and the duo behind the latest Loki episodes, ensuring the series maintains its high-quality production. With Matt building a team of allies and Fisk controlling the city, the stakes in Hell’s Kitchen have never been higher.
Fans are already counting the days until March to see if Daredevil can save New York. The next two years look packed with action for Marvel’s Man Without Fear.
