‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Secures Season 3, Filming Kicks Off in 2026
Marvel has confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will move forward with a third season. The new season will begin production in 2026.
Brad Winderbaum, who oversees streaming, TV, and animation at Marvel Studios, revealed the news in an interview with IGN.
He addressed the speculation that the show might not continue beyond its second season. “In terms of Daredevil, yeah, we are greenlit for Season 3 and we start shooting next year,” he said.
Before season three arrives, fans can look forward to season two, which is set to debut on Disney+ in March 2026. It will have eight episodes and is part of Phase Six of the MCU.
The cast brings back many familiar names. Along with Cox and D’Onofrio, actors like Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Jon Bernthal, Margarita Levieva, Wilson Bethel, and others are returning. Krysten Ritter is also joining the series, adding another familiar Marvel face to the mix.
Marvel began working on Born Again in 2022. The project was first planned as an 18-episode season, but Marvel later decided to make big changes in 2023, splitting the story into two shorter seasons and bringing in new creative leads. Filming for the second season wrapped in New York during the summer.
With that chapter complete, Marvel is wasting no time in securing more of Daredevil’s story. Season three is now officially on the way, with cameras set to roll next year.
