Daredevil Returns! According To X-Men Writer, The Reboot At Marvel Studios Is In Development
Ever since the Daredevil TV show starring Charlie Cox finished its airing on Netflix, fans were eager to get more of him. Many were hoping that Disney will revive the show after they got rights back from Netflix, and many fan theories were predicting Cox’s return in some other MCU project. The most popular theory was that he’ll return in the upcoming movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, where he would play Peter Parker’s lawyer after he got unmasked as Spider-Man at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
But now, looks like Daredevil is on his way back to the fans. David Hayer, a screenwriter who worked on the X-Men franchise at Fox. Fox was purchased by Disney two years ago and that deal brought back all the X-Men characters, Deadpool, and Fantastic Four back home. Hayer now revealed that Daredevil is really coming back.
“They’re doing a reboot of Daredevil, and Daredevil was always a very important character to me. I loved the first way they did it, but there’s certain things that I would want to adapt from the Frank Miller run on Daredevil that really meant a lot to me. That’s really the one.”

Hayer brought the news like it’s already widely known and that he didn’t say anything new, but fans can now finally rest easy because this seems like a legit confirmation because all the talks about Daredevil’s return were all just mere theories and wishes, until now. Let’s hope this won’t bring him any problems with the boss Kevin Feige.

Netflix Marvel show Daredevil started in 2015 and it released three seasons. The show starred Charlie Cox as a titular superhero. The cast also included Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Bob Gunton, Ayelet Zurer, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio as a notorious villain Kingpin, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, and Élodie Yung as Elektra Natchios.
With an 8.6 rating on IMDb, Daredevil is one of the best-rated superhero TV shows among the audience.
