Daryl Dixon’s journey through post-apocalyptic Europe is far from over. AMC has confirmed that Season 3 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will premiere on Sunday, September 7 at 9 PM ET/PT on AMC and AMC+.

A brand new teaser and fresh photos from the season have also been released.

In the first season, Daryl found himself washed up on the shores of France with no memory of how he got there. While trying to make sense of his situation, he began a dangerous trek across the country. Along the way, he met new people, formed unexpected bonds, and slowly began to question if he still wanted to return home.

The second season, titled The Book of Carol, picked up from there. It followed both Daryl and Carol Peletier, played by Melissa McBride, as they faced painful memories and tried to reunite.

Daryl stayed in France while Carol searched for him, creating tension between the two. At the same time, Genet’s movement continued to grow, sparking conflict between her group, Pouvoir, and the Union of Hope. The struggle for control of France began to heat up.

Now, in Season 3, Daryl and Carol are still trying to get back home. But things aren’t getting any easier. According to AMC, their journey will take them to Spain, where they’ll encounter unfamiliar environments and more chaos caused by the ongoing walker outbreak. The path home keeps getting longer and more dangerous.

This season will also bring in new faces. Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, and Alexandra Masangkay have joined the cast as series regulars. Other actors set to appear include Candela Saitta, Hugo Arbués, Greta Fernández, Gonzalo Bouza, Hada Nieto, Yassmine Othman, Cuco Usín, and Stephen Merchant.
