David F. Sandberg Trolls Fans Over Rachel Zegler’s Role In ‘Shazam: Fury of the Gods’

David F. Sandberg is one hilarious guy. How do we know? Well, it can be said when you check out the way he answered one fan question on his Instagram account.

Sandberg directed the 2019 DC movie Shazam starring Zachary Levi, and now he’s focused on the sequel Shazam: Fury of the Gods, which recently finished production. Not much is known about the movie at this time, except the fact that Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu will play two villains of the movie. Also, a rising star Rachel Zegler was cast in the movie in an undisclosed role.

Sandberg offered fans to ask him questions on his Instagram story, and one fan asked who is Rachel Zegler playing. As an answer, Sandberg posted an image of Snow White. Considering Zegler was cast in June as Snow White in a live-action remake of Disney’s classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sandberg didn’t lie, but he also didn’t reveal what’s her secret role in Fury of the Gods.

We will be able to watch Zegler in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, which is coming out in December. Shazam: Fury of the Gods is set to be released on June 2, 2023.
