David Harbour Clings to Mistress Despite Her Feud with Lily Allen
David Harbour is still connected with Natalie Tippett, the woman Lily Allen referenced in her breakup album, despite the drama surrounding her and the singer.
Lily Allen, 40, split from Stranger Things star David Harbour, 50, last December. Reports later revealed that David had been involved in a three-year affair, which became a central theme in Lily’s 14-track album, West End Girl.
On the record, Lily appears to call out the woman, using the name “Madeline,” who was later identified as Natalie Tippett.
Natalie has publicly denied having a long-term affair with David. She told fans on Instagram, “I did not have a three year affair with anyone. I’m unsure why this person wants so badly to pit people against me or create this narrative that we both know is false based on the actual messages that I have saved between us.”
Despite the accusations, Natalie and David have remained in contact. They are still following each other on Instagram, signaling that their connection has not ended.
Natalie shared her side of the story through a series of Instagram posts following Lily’s performance on Saturday Night Live.
She said she felt “extremely violated” by how Lily portrayed her in the songs and called the situation a “major disruption” in her life. She explained, “I was hoping not to speak on this, but I am tired of this false narrative being pushed and circulated.”
She also clarified her personal stance, writing, “I don’t weaponise women against women for the behaviour of men, especially not in an open relationship. I’m wishing her all the success, money, healing and happiness and whatever else she’s seeking through this.”
Natalie, a single mother, acknowledged the risks of speaking out, saying she understands the potential backlash. Meanwhile, David Harbour has not publicly responded to Lily’s claims or Natalie’s statements.
On West End Girl, Lily Allen sings directly about the situation. In the track Madeline, she questions, “How long has it been going on? Is it just s** or is there emotion?” Another song, Tennis, references Natalie again: “So I read your text, and now I regret it. I can’t get my head round how you’ve been playing tennis. If it was just s** I wouldn’t be jealous. You won’t play with me and who the f***** is Madeline?”
