David Hasselhoff was recently seen enjoying a brisk outdoor excursion in Calabasas, marking a notable public appearance alongside his wife, Hayley Roberts. The 73-year-old television legend and the 45-year-old model were spotted navigating the California trails on Monday, April 6.

Hasselhoff opted for a practical athletic look, pairing a simple white t-shirt with loose black track pants and a baseball cap for sun protection. To assist with the hike, the actor utilized a pair of trekking poles, which appeared to help him manage the local terrain following his recent physical recovery.

Roberts complemented his casual style with a matching white tee and black leggings, topped with a teal cap. This outing serves as a positive sign for the star’s mobility after a period of significant health challenges involving his legs.

In May 2025, the actor made headlines when he was seen using a wheelchair at Los Angeles International Airport, eventually confirming that he required a total knee replacement.

At the time, he admitted to being in considerable discomfort but maintained the upbeat attitude that fans have come to expect. “I’m in a lot of pain,” he told onlookers during his recovery period, though he remained focused on regaining his strength for future projects.

While he has kept a relatively low profile lately, Hasselhoff has stayed connected with his audience through digital ventures. In late 2025, he promoted the video game SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide.

His wife also recently gave fans a glimpse into their personal life by posting a video of the couple relaxing at a high-end resort, where they enjoyed the scenery over breakfast. The sighting comes as the Baywatch brand prepares for a major television revival on Fox, which is scheduled to premiere during the 2026-2027 broadcast season.

This new iteration features a fresh generation of stars, including Shay Mitchell, Livvy Dunne, and Brooks Nader, who have been seen filming in Venice, California, this spring. The reboot is being overseen by showrunner Matt Nix and promises to bring the sun-drenched drama of the original series to a modern audience with 12 new episodes.

Although Hasselhoff is not currently part of the regular cast for the reboot, his legacy as Mitch Buchannon continues to loom large over the franchise. For now, the star seems content balancing his recovery with quiet moments at home and occasional appearances that remind the world he is still “The Hoff.”
