DC fans will have a really good year! The Batman, Black Adam, The Flash, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom! Each of these highly anticipated movies will finally hit theaters in 2022. And now, DC revealed an amazing one-minute trailer featuring brand-new footage from each of them!

The Batman will open the series of DC movies this year. The movie is set to hit theaters in less than a month, and tickets are already on sale. Robert Pattinson is starring as the newest live-action Caped Crusader, and Zoë Kravitz is starring as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. The trailer is giving us a new glimpse at this power couple. Directed by Matt Reeves, the movie is also starring Paul Dano as Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin. Two sequels are already planned, as well as two spin-off shows for HBOMax.

In July, we will finally watch Dwayne The Rock Johnson in the role he was set to play for so long. After almost 15 years of development hell, Black Adam is finally getting his own movie, and fans couldn’t be more excited about it. The trailer gave us the best look yet as The Rock’s titular character, and there’s no way we could’ve missed the first look on Doctor Fate and Hawkman, who will also have their DCEU debut in this movie! Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam will hit theaters on July 29, 2022.

The third DC movie of the year is The Flash. One more movie that is finally finding its way to theaters after spending years in development hell. Ezra Miller returns as Barry Allen, and what makes this movie even bigger is the fact that both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will reprise their respective Batman roles. Sasha Calle is also set to debut as DCEU’s Supergirl. This movie is set to reshape DCEU as we know it. Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash will run straight to theaters in November this year. The trailer also gave a new look at Scarlet Speedster’s new suit.

And finally, in December, the fans will finally see the return of Jason Momoa as DC’s King of Atlantis. The original Aquaman movie was released four years ago, and to this day it remained the highest-grossing DC movie ever. James Wan is returning to director’s chair, and Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are all set to return for this sequel. We got the first glimpse at the film at last year’s DC FanDome, but now we have the legit first footage! Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set to be released on December 16, the same day when James Cameron’s Avatar 2 will also hit theaters.
