‘Dead by Daylight’ Welcomes Vecna – Here’s Everything We Know

Behaviour Interactive has officially confirmed that Dead by Daylight will be getting Stranger Things: Chapter 2 this January, and with it comes the terrifying new Killer, Vecna.

The announcement was made through the studio’s social media channels, accompanied by a short teaser that sent shivers through the community.

After months of speculation and cryptic hints, fans finally have confirmation that the Stranger Things universe is returning to the Fog. The teaser shows flickering lights, eerie echoes from the Upside Down, and a silhouette unmistakably belonging to Vecna, the dark force from the later seasons of the Netflix series.

Vecna’s addition is expected to bring a new level of psychological horror to the game. While Behaviour has not revealed his full set of abilities yet, early speculation points to powers that involve mental torment, supernatural manipulation, and environmental changes.

Fans are already theorizing about potential powers like psychic paralysis, telekinetic traps, and hallucination-based fear mechanics. The teaser’s warped visuals and unsettling audio only strengthen these theories.

Behaviour Interactive has also hinted that more surprises are on the way beyond Vecna. Rumors suggest new Survivors connected to the later seasons of Stranger Things and possibly a reworked or completely new map inspired by the Upside Down or the Creel House. The studio has not confirmed these details yet but promises a full reveal event soon.
