Death On The Nile: Kenneth Branagh Returns As Hercule Poirot In New Official Trailer

Acclaimed British actor and director Kenneth Branagh returns as Hercule Poirot. In 2017, Branagh directed, produced, and starred in Murder on the Orient Express, the movie based on a 1934 novel of the same name by Agatha Christie. The movie grossed $352 million against a budget of $55 million. Branagh played the detective Hercule Poirot, and the movie also starred Tom Bateman, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Leslie Odom Jr., Michelle Pfeiffer, and Daisy Ridley.
Now, Branagh returns with another adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel. Death on the Nile was first published in 1937. Branagh’s adaptation will be the third movie adaptation of the novel and the follow-up to Murder on the Orient Express. Branagh and Tom Bateman reprise their roles from the previous movie, while Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright joined the cast.
The movie was originally set to be released in December 2019, but it was delayed several times due to the pandemic so its release date is now set on February 11, 2022.
