Demi Moore (63) Sparks Fashion Talk With Long Hair Comeback and Peplum Look
Demi Moore has always embraced bold fashion choices, famously cycling through dramatic silhouettes that defy traditional red carpet norms. Her latest appearance is no exception, as she leans into the divisive millennial-coded peplum trend.
In a recent social media post, the 63-year-old actress stunned in a tailored denim top by Alaïa, which featured a sharp, structural peplum waistline paired with matching oversized denim cargo trousers from the same designer.
The peplum silhouette, which largely fell out of style in the mid-2010s, is clearly making a comeback, and Moore has been its most consistent champion. Over the past year, she has showcased various iterations of the look, ranging from dramatic black-and-white polka-dot dresses to polished, sparkly peplum-style blazers.
Her hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, highlighted the ensemble on Instagram, celebrating her signature look as “most iconic hair in Hollywood has one name: ‘The DEMI MOORE Hair’.” This fashion-forward moment comes shortly after the actress sparked a frenzy during Milan Fashion Week.
While attending the Gucci Fall/Winter show, Moore appeared to have debuted a chic, wet-effect grunge bob. It was later revealed that the dramatic hair change was merely a temporary faux bob created to “give Demi a very bold and fashion-forward look for Demna’s show,” according to Giannetos.
She has since returned to her signature waist-length, silky dark locks, crediting high-end overnight treatments for maintaining their luster. Beyond her recent style transformations, Moore has been at the center of intense professional and public attention.
She is currently celebrating the critical success of her work in the 2024 body horror sensation The Substance, which earned her significant awards recognition and a nomination for Best Actress at the 2025 Academy Awards.
