‘Descendants 5’ Expands Cast with Robin Hood, Dr. Facilier & Mr. Smee’s Kids!
The highly anticipated fifth installment of Disney’s Descendants franchise is expanding its cast! Four new actors have joined the upcoming musical fantasy film, which will stream on Disney+ and air on Disney Channel.
Joel Oulette (Trickster), Zavien Garrett (The Flash), Ryan McEwen (Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies), and Dayton Paradis have officially signed on. Production is set to begin soon, and fans can expect more magical adventures featuring the children of iconic Disney characters.
- Joel Oulette will play Robbie Hood, the son of Robin Hood, a legendary hero known for stealing from the rich to help the poor.
- Zavien Garrett takes on the role of Felix Facilier, the son of Dr. Facilier, the cunning villain from The Princess and the Frog.
- Ryan McEwen and Dayton Paradis will portray Squirmy Smee and Squeaky Smee, the mischievous twin sons of Mr. Smee from Peter Pan.
Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker will return as Princess Red and Princess Chloe, daughters of the Queen of Hearts and Cinderella, respectively. Leonardo Nam is also back as Maddox Hatter, son of the Mad Hatter.
Several other new descendants will make their debut in this film, including:
- Liamani Segura as Pink, Red’s sister
- Brendon Tremblay as Max Hatter, Maddox Hatter’s son
- Alexandro Byrd as Luis Madrigal, Luisa Madrigal’s son from Encanto
- Kiara Romero as Hazel Hook, daughter of Captain Hook
The film is directed by Kimmy Gatewood, with a script written by Tamara Chestna, Dan Frey, and Ru Sommer. Executive producers Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh are returning, with Gatewood also serving as co-producer. Emmy-winning choreographer Emilio Dosal has been brought on board to create stunning dance sequences.
Set primarily in present-day Wonderland, Descendants 5 promises to bring more magic, music, and adventure to fans. Stay tuned for more updates as production begins!
