Diabolical is an 8-episode series set to premiere next year. The series will show us the untold stories from The Boys’ universe. As Prime Video announced, the stories of the series come from the big Hollywood names: Awkwafina, Garth Ennis, Eliot Glazer & Ilana Glazer, Evan Goldberg & Seth Rogen, Simon Racioppa, Justin Roiland & Ben Bayouth, Andy Samberg, and Aisha Tyler.

Prime Video revealed the first teaser. Check it out below:

We’re almost finished with eight episodes of our animated series, Diabolical. We gathered together some incredible creators and we gave them one rule. Just kidding, there’s no rules. They blew the doors off it.

Eric Kripke

Created by Eric Kripke, who’s also developing this animated spin-off, The Boys premiered on Prime Video in July 2019. The show received widespread acclaim for its performances, script, and how it’s breaking all the possible stereotypes we ever knew in the superhero genre.

The show stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, and Karen Fukuhara as the vigilante members of the group known as The Boys, and Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher, and Nathan Mitchell as members of the Seven, The Boys’ main rivals. Performances of Urban as Billy Butcher and Starr as the vicious villain Homelander were particularly praised.

The Boys Season 3 is set to arrive on Prime Video next year, just like the animated spin-off Diabolical.
