Disney Parts Ways With Iconic Evil Queen & Agatha Harkness Actress After Nearly a Decade

After nearly a decade of playing iconic villains at Disneyland, actress Sabrina Von B. has officially finished her time with the company. The 27-year-old performer became an internet sensation for her portrayal of the Evil Queen from Snow White, though she also portrayed characters like Agatha Harkness and Maleficent during her eight-year tenure.

Sabrina started her career at the park when she was 18. While Disney character actors are usually anonymous to “protect the magic,” her sharp wit and improvised comebacks made her a staple on social media. Clips of her interactions—such as her jokingly claiming her beauty was “all natural” or correcting a guest who called her a witch—frequently racked up millions of views on TikTok and YouTube.

Despite her online popularity, Sabrina kept her identity a secret until she was let go by the company. Once her employment ended, she posted a video confirming she was the face behind the crown, which quickly gained over 6 million views.

While the job looked glamorous to guests, Sabrina noted that it was physically and mentally exhausting. The role required: Enduring high California temperatures in heavy costumes, constant hydration and physical preparation to “flip the cape” all day, mental focus to stay in character and deliver fast, witty responses.

She also highlighted the emotional side of the job. She recalled watching a young guest grow from a baby to an 8-year-old over several years of park visits. Sabrina says playing such confident characters helped her overcome her own natural shyness.

Now that she has “stepped outside the mouse,” Sabrina is focusing on her acting career. She has several projects in the works and hopes to eventually perform on Broadway or join a national theater tour.
