Disney Plus Unveils Marvel Studios’ Surprising Final Release of 2024!

The MCU has a busy schedule for 2024, even though there is only one movie coming out this year. Agatha All Along is currently airing, and the last two episodes will be released today, but it looks like there’s more for fans to look forward to this year.

Marvel Studios recently revealed their official release schedule for 2024 and 2025. They confirmed release dates and gave audiences “first looks” at what to expect, including animated shows and live-action series.

We’re pleased to let you know that the final season of ‘What If…?’ will arrive on December 22, wrapping up this year in style.

The season has several episodes, including one about Red Guardian written by A.C. Bradley. This episode features Bucky Barnes, Bill Foster, and Ranger Morales and was originally planned for the second season.

There’s also an anime-inspired episode called “Go-Avengers: Heroes of the Gamma War,” where the Avengers use mechs to fight a group of Mega-Hulk monsters. This episode includes Sam Wilson/Captain America, Black Widow, Red Guardian, Xu Shang-Chi, Monica Rambeau, Moon Knight, Shuri, and Melina Vostokoff.

In addition, there’s an episode with Agatha Harkness that has a musical number, and another with Shang-Chi set in a Western theme.

Work on the third season of What If…? began in July 2022. At that time, A.C. Bradley, the head writer, announced that the second season would be her last project at Marvel Studios, and Matthew Chauncey would take over as head writer for the new season. Director Bryan Andrews is also returning for the third season.

Shortly after Bradley stepped down, it was announced that this third season would be the final one for the series.
