Disney+ to Live Stream First-Ever “Blue Carpet Day” for ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Premiere
Marvel’s First Family is about to make their official debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe on July 25. But before the movie hits theaters, fans have a special chance to see the premiere event live on Disney+.
For the very first time, Disney is streaming the blue carpet premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. This exciting livestream will take place on Monday, July 21, at 7 p.m. PT from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. After the live event, a full replay will be available for streaming.

While viewers won’t get to watch the whole movie during the premiere event, they will see an exclusive sneak peek. Fans can expect to catch interviews with stars like Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn.
Other cast members joining the fun include Ralph Ineson, Julia Garner, Natasha Lyonne, and more. Director Matt Shakman, producer Kevin Feige, executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis, and Tim Lewis, along with composer Michael Giacchino, will also be there on the blue carpet.
According to the information shared, this live stream is a big deal because it’s the first time Disney is letting fans watch a premiere event live, almost like an awards show. Usually, audiences only get to see clips and interviews after the fact, but this time, everything is happening in real time.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps takes the MCU back to New York, set in a cool 1960s-inspired retro-futuristic world. The story follows Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic (played by Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm or Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grimm aka The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Johnny Storm, the Human Torch (Joseph Quinn). They face their biggest threat yet: Galactus, the devourer of worlds, played by Ralph Ineson.
A recent trailer revealed a tense twist: Galactus demands the first-born child of Reed and Sue in exchange for sparing Earth. This makes things very personal for the team as they try to protect their planet and their family.
