Paramount has officially announced the premiere of the “Yellowstone” spinoff “Dutton Ranch,” giving fans a first look at what’s to come for Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser). The show will launch with two episodes on May 15, streaming on Paramount+ and airing at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the Paramount Network. After the premiere, new episodes will release weekly, with the first season running nine episodes.

The series picks up after the events of “Yellowstone,” following Beth and Rip as they leave Montana behind and try to build a new life in South Texas. Despite hoping for peace, the couple quickly finds themselves drawn into a violent struggle with a ruthless rival ranch.

According to the official synopsis, “As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together – far from the ghosts of Yellowstone – they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.”

Paramount has released a teaser and first-look images, showing Beth and Rip confronting danger in their new surroundings. The spinoff also brings back Finn Little as Carter, alongside Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, Natalie Alyn Lind, Ed Harris, and Annette Bening.

“Dutton Ranch” is based on characters created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. Chad Feehan serves as creator, executive producer, and showrunner. Sheridan, Linson, and a team of producers, including David C. Glasser and Art Linson, also serve as executive producers. Christina Alexandra Voros directed multiple episodes this season, including the premiere and finale, with Greg Yaitanes, Jessica Lowrey, and Phil Abraham also contributing as directors. Paramount Television and 101 Studios handle production.

This is the second “Yellowstone” spinoff this year, following CBS’s “Marshalls,” which features Luke Grimes returning as Kayce Dutton.

From the teaser and images, it looks like Beth and Rip’s Texas adventure will bring plenty of action, tension, and drama. The setting and new rivalries promise a fresh take while keeping the signature intensity that “Yellowstone” fans love.
