EastEnders Star Seen on Hinge Looking for Women 15 Years Younger

Dean Gaffney is getting attention online after a TikTok user said the former EastEnders actor tried to match with her on the dating app Hinge.

The woman, who posted the story on TikTok, told viewers that the 47-year-old actor reached out to her and called her “gorgeous.” She said the message surprised her and joked that seeing his profile pop up on her screen was nowhere near what she expected this year. She also said her mum, who loves the soap, would be shocked too.

Her video quickly spread on the app, and many people jumped into the comments to say they had similar experiences. One comment, which has been liked almost 900 times, asked, “Who here has been personally swiped by Dean Gaffney.” Others replied with things like, “Yep, it’s happened to me multiple times,” and “Who hasn’t.” Someone else said he once messaged them with the word “stunning.”

This comes not long after reports that Gaffney had been seeing Kate Black, a Harvard graduate who is more than a decade younger than him.

The two were said to have started dating earlier this year. It was also reported last year that Gaffney had joined Hinge as he looked for a new relationship. He has twin daughters from a past relationship and has said on his profile that smoking is his biggest deal-breaker.
