Few stars move between Hollywood blockbusters and high fashion as effortlessly as Ana de Armas, and her Harper’s Bazaar Spain cover feels like a homecoming of sorts. Born in Havana, the actress moved to Madrid at 18, where the boarding school series ‘El Internado’ made her a celebrity in Spain.

That career has since taken her from Spanish television to international stardom. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for ‘Knives Out’, played Paloma in ‘No Time to Die’, and received an Oscar nomination for her turn as Marilyn Monroe in ‘Blonde’.

Now, the actress is back on Spanish newsstands with not one but 2 covers for Harper’s Bazaar España’s November issue. Billed as the beauty issue, both covers carry the line “el ARTE de habitar el misterio,” which roughly translates to “the art of inhabiting mystery.”

The shoot was photographed by Pepe Lobez, with de Armas wearing Louis Vuitton’s High Jewelry collection. Fans quickly flooded social media with the images after they surfaced, with accounts like JumpTrailers calling her look stunning.

The first cover keeps things relaxed yet luxurious. De Armas poses against a white background with her chin resting on one hand, wearing a black Louis Vuitton leather shirt dress paired with elaborate diamond-and-emerald jewelry.

CelebMafia highlighted the contrast between the loose, glossy dress and the intricate fine jewelry. The oversized shirt shape features a pointed collar, dropped shoulders, and generous sleeves, with a small Louis Vuitton Paris inscription on the chest pocket.

The second cover leans moodier. Set against a soft gray backdrop, de Armas wears a shimmering black jacket with a layered statement necklace, one hand resting on her chest as her long dark hair falls in loose waves.

The concept suits an actress known for keeping much of her life private. As ComicBasics pointed out, her career has been built on roles that blend vulnerability with quiet intensity, from Joi in ‘Blade Runner 2049’ to Marilyn Monroe in ‘Blonde’.

She has kept a low profile online as well. With roughly 16 million Instagram followers, de Armas tends to post in sporadic bursts, often with minimal captions. The cover arrives during a surprisingly quiet stretch on screen. Her most recent release was 2025’s ‘Ballerina’, the ‘John Wick’ spinoff, and she hasn’t had a new acting credit in 2026.

That’s set to change soon. De Armas will play fitness influencer Emma Kent in J Blakeson’s psychological thriller ‘Sweat’, and she’ll star opposite Tom Cruise in Doug Liman’s sci-fi horror film ‘Deeper’.

Her slate keeps growing from there. She’ll appear alongside Sebastian Stan in Felipe Gálvez’s espionage thriller ‘Impunity’, set against the 1998 arrest of Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet in London, and she’s reportedly part of Grant Singer’s thriller ‘Reenactment’ with Benicio Del Toro and Cameron Diaz, which is in post-production.

Television is on the horizon too. De Armas will star with Jennifer Connelly in Apple TV+’s ‘Safe Houses’ from showrunner Gideon Raff, and she’s also attached to the Apple TV+ series ‘Bananas’ alongside Oscar Isaac.

Even without a new release this year, de Armas has stayed in the spotlight. She presented at the 2026 Golden Globes alongside Chris Pine, and her red carpet appearances continue to draw attention.

With so many projects on the way, this cover feels like a stylish preview of the busy stretch ahead. For now, fans can enjoy a rare, intimate glimpse of one of Hollywood’s most private stars.
