Elle Fanning Wows in Chic Beige Outfit at Apple TV Press Appearance
Elle Fanning is trading the corsets of 18th-century Russia for a digital-age hustle that is as green as it is gritty. At a recent Apple TV press day, the actress looked effortlessly sophisticated in a beige ensemble that featured a tailored, structured bodice and fluid trousers.

The appearance served as the official introduction for Margo’s Got Money Troubles, a darkly comedic new series that marks a bold departure from her recent prestige drama roles. The show, which Apple TV+ confirmed will premiere on April 15, explores the intersections of modern motherhood and unconventional financial survival.
The first teaser for the series introduces Margo, a community college dropout whose life is upended by an unplanned pregnancy. As she stares down the overwhelming costs of diapers and rent, Margo decides to lean into a unique entrepreneurial path by launching an alien-themed fetish account on OnlyFans. In one of the teaser’s most talked-about moments, Fanning is seen completely painted in green makeup, a visual representation of her character’s commitment to her new “educational videos.”
Apple TV today unveiled its first teaser for ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles,’ the David E. Kelley-created series starring Elle Fanning based on Rufi Thorpe’s best-selling book.

The series features a heavy-hitting cast, including Michelle Pfeiffer as Shyanne, Margo’s mother, who provides a dose of tough love in a Bloomingdale’s aisle. There are no victims in Bloomingdale’s, she declares in the clip, which is set to the upbeat tempo of Meek Mill’s Fabulous. Nick Offerman also stars as Jinx, Margo’s father and an ex-pro wrestler recently out of rehab, while the broader cast includes Nicole Kidman, Thaddea Graham, and Marcia Gay Harden.

Fanning shared at the press day that she was immediately captivated by the character’s resilience. I was drawn to Margo’s spunk and optimism, she noted, adding that she felt a responsibility to portray the complexities of postpartum life with honesty. The project is an adaptation of Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel by veteran showrunner David E. Kelley. During the event, Kelley, who is married to Pfeiffer, teased that convincing his wife to play Fanning’s mother was the second best ‘yes’ I’ve gotten from her.

This television return follows a massive year for Fanning, who has been expanding her range into genre-bending cinema and digital media. In late 2025, she starred in the high-octane sci-fi thriller Predator: Badlands alongside Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. In that film, she took on a dual role as twin Weyland-Yutani synthetics, Thia and Tessa, proving her ability to handle intense physical action and complex technical performances.
Looking further into 2026, Fanning is set to join the iconic Hunger Games franchise in the prequel The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. She will step into the flamboyant shoes of a young Effie Trinket, a role she described at the Palm Springs International Film Festival as a dream come true for an “O.G. fan” of the series. Additionally, she is currently preparing to film The Nightingale, where she will finally star opposite her real-life sister, Dakota Fanning, for the first time in their careers.
The upcoming year is shaping up to be one of Fanning’s most prolific, as she balances blockbuster franchises with character-driven comedies. With Margo’s Got Money Troubles set to drop its first three episodes in April, audiences won’t have to wait long to see her latest transformation.
