Elodie Yung Just Dropped a Major Hint? Fans Are Convinced She’s Joining the MCU After This Post
Elodie Yung has fans talking again after a simple Instagram post turned into something much bigger. The actress, who Marvel fans know as Elektra, shared a photo of herself taking a nap. Along with it, she wrote: “Lil nap (sorry Jon Bernthal) and then I’ll clean up.”
That short caption was enough to spark a wave of speculation online. Fans quickly connected it to Jon Bernthal and his return as Punisher in the expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The timing is what really caught people’s attention. Marvel is currently building hype around new projects for both theaters and streaming. One of those is the upcoming Disney+ event titled The Punisher: One Last Kill. The project was recently revealed with a poster and release date, shared by Bernthal himself, which immediately got fans excited.
According to fan discussions and reactions on social media, many believe that more characters from the old Netflix Marvel shows could return. That includes Elektra, who previously appeared in Daredevil and The Defenders.
The speculation grew even more when Yung reacted to Bernthal’s post with a simple comment: “❤️🔥”. It may not seem like much, but fans didn’t ignore it. Replies quickly followed, with people asking if she might be coming back as Elektra.
Right now, nothing has been confirmed. Still, the idea doesn’t feel impossible. Marvel has already started bringing back characters from its Netflix era. Charlie Cox returned as Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Kingpin showed up again in Hawkeye and Echo. The series Daredevil: Born Again is also bringing back familiar faces, including Bernthal’s Punisher. Reports also say Krysten Ritter will return as Jessica Jones in a future season.
Because of all this, fans believe Elektra could easily be next.
The last time viewers saw Elektra was in the finale of The Defenders. After a big fight, both she and Daredevil were buried under a collapsing building. Daredevil later returned, but Elektra’s fate was never clearly shown on screen.
The excitement is coming straight from fans reacting to social media posts and comments. There is no official confirmation from Marvel or Disney. But even a small interaction like this is enough to get people hoping that Elektra might finally make her comeback.
