What Happens Between Alfie And Emily?
In season 2, Emily meets the dashing and always cool Alfie, a man from London who doesn’t really buy all the hype that comes with Paris. However, bit by bit, Emily begins to get inside the heart of this rough man, and he ends up falling in love with her, just like all of us. However, as the season progressed, their relationship ended up being in a hard place, as Alfie’s work in London was very important to him. Emily saw herself between her loyalty to Madeline and Savoir and Sylvie, who was just starting her own marketing agency.
Emily even reaches a point where she starts double timing her two jobs, but she is quickly discovered, which, of course, generates some good old-fashioned drama. It seems that Emily’s big flaw is her indecision. At the start of the series, she made a big jump by coming to Paris and starting a new life there, away from her boyfriend at the time, Doug. However, this might have been Emily’s last final big decision because since then, she has only been going with the flow, at work but also in matters of the heart.

Just like Emily has been having a hard time deciding between Sylvie and Savoir, she also has a hard time deciding between Alfie and Gabriel. Alfie seems like a sure bet, he is handsome and cool, and even when Emily botches their relationship a couple of times, the man is always there. Alfie becomes the new CFO of Antoine’s company and stays in Paris to work in this new position but also to be close to Emily, even when he doesn’t want to admit it.
Gabriel, on the other hand, is also asking for more out of life. It seems like he has chosen to marry Camille, after their relationship fell into a slump, the couple has been reconnecting, but there are some secrets in the midst. Emily, for example, saw Camille, kissing Sofia, a girl Camille knows from Greece. They seem to have a serious relationship. Emily can’t help but wonder if their relationship might end up hurting Gabriel now that he has decided to marry Camille.
What Happens Between Gabriel And Emily?
Gabriel’s search for independence and more money becomes clear when he reveals he wants to marry Camille. However, in a couple of scenes, it also becomes apparent that Gabriel might be thinking not only of improving the restaurant and his relationship with Camille, but also he might be thinking of having kids and starting a family. He says so clearly enough to Emily when she asks how he wants to get married to Camille all of a sudden. Emily is clearly conflicted. She is happy for Gabriel, but she wants him for herself.
Emily also gets into trouble with Nicolas, Wendy’s newest boyfriend and also the heir to one of the richest family companies in Paris. However, she makes peace with Nicolas during Gabriel and Camille’s engagement party. Wendy also gets good news for her as she receives the news that her song has been accepted into the Eurovision. This is huge, as Eurovision is the biggest music contest in all of Europe. The season ends without us knowing how Wendy will deal with having her heart divided in two.

We do find out that Emily and Luc are trying to help Gabriel get the Michelin star he wants so much. Luc revives his relationship with an old girlfriend who is part of the secret examiners, and he takes her to Gabriel’s restaurant. She loves the food so much that she decides to go back again and again. Luc tells the news to Emily, who shares it with Gabriel, and, well, Gabriel kisses Emily’s hand as a way to be grateful, but Camille sees them and gets sad about it.
Gabriel is happy about the news that he is on the run for the Michelin stars and proposes to Camille to marry right away. They go to the chapel, and they start exchanging votes. However, Camille snaps and reveals in front of everyone that the only reason Gabriel is with Camille is that she made a pact with Emily never to go out with Gabriel, but she broke it. She reveals that they are in love, and Emily doesn’t deny it. Alfie leaves heartbroken, and Camille as well. Gabriel and Emily see each other, admitting they love each other, but Gabriel also reveals that Camille is pregnant with his kid. We will have to wait for next season to see if these two can overcome this obstacle and finally be happy together.
