Emily Rudd is stepping into a new space in her career, and her latest feature in Who What Wear shows that clearly. According to the magazine, the actress takes on a more fashion-focused image, moving away from her action-heavy screen roles.

In the photoshoot, she wears a matching two-piece outfit built around lace and soft color tones. The look includes a cropped jacket with long sleeves and a sharp collar. The cut leaves her midriff visible, giving the outfit a modern edge. The fabric combines a light base color with a darker lace layer on top, creating contrast and texture.

The skirt follows the same design, fitted closely and sitting high on the waist. This keeps the shape clean and balanced while matching the top. The styling, done by Enrique Melendez, focuses on structure and detail. Her hair is kept simple with loose waves, letting the outfit stand out more.

In her interview with Who What Wear, Rudd also spoke about her personal connection to anime. “I grew up watching anime,” she said, explaining how that background helped her connect with her current role.

She is best known for playing Nami in One Piece, the live-action version of the popular story created by Eiichiro Oda. The series has gained a large global audience and continues to grow. Speaking about the project, she said, “One Piece is massive. It’s extremely legendary. I think anybody who knows and watches anime or reads manga knows about One Piece, and usually, the major deterrent is that it’s an extremely long manga and anime series,”.

At first, the size of the story made her unsure about taking the role. The original series includes more than 100 volumes and over 1,000 episodes. But once she started watching it, she became fully invested.

The show has been a strong success for Netflix, with millions of viewers tuning in during its release. It is already continuing into more seasons, with fans waiting to see what happens next. Rudd works closely with co-stars Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, and Taz Skylar, and their on-screen connection has been a key part of the show’s appeal.

Before this role, she also appeared in the Fear Street trilogy, where she gained attention for her performance. Her background in sports and physical training has helped her handle the demands of action scenes.

This feels like a smart move for her career. She is not just staying in one lane but trying different things at the same time. That can help her stay relevant and grow as an actress. What do you think about her role as Nami and her latest photoshoot? Share your thoughts in the comments.
