Few young stars have embraced Paris Fashion Week quite like Ester Expósito. The Spanish actress, best known for the Netflix hit ‘Elite’, has become a familiar face in front rows across the French capital. Her relationship with fine jewelry house Messika, in particular, has turned into one of her most consistent fashion week traditions.

French fashion magazine Numéro has described her as a Gen Z fashion icon with a chameleon-like approach to style, noting that she refuses to commit to a single label. On Instagram, she has posed in looks by Jean Paul Gaultier, Acne, and Vivienne Westwood, as well as pieces of Messika jewelry, and she has also been named an ambassador for Desigual.

On Thursday, October 1, Expósito attended the Messika show during Paris Fashion Week, and many outlets shared photos from the evening on X. She posed in front of a moody purple backdrop wearing a flowing black gown with soft ruffled layers and a slit at the hem.

The real drama came from the back. The dress featured a deep, draped open back, perfectly framed by her long honey-blonde hair, which she styled in a sleek low ponytail. A delicate necklace and minimal accessories kept the attention on the silhouette, which felt fitting for an event celebrating jewelry.

Expósito was far from the only famous guest. According to Just Jared, the Messika event also drew Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham, Julianne Moore and her daughter Liv, and influencer Ollie Muhl.

The show has become a major celebrity draw over the years. Last season’s presentation took place at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in October 2025, with models including Anok Yai and Alton Mason walking the runway alongside artistic director Valérie Messika.

This isn’t Expósito’s first time supporting the brand. Back in September 2023, she sat in the front row of Messika’s High Jewelry Show at the Pavillon Cambon, seated close to Cher.

That event was a major milestone for the house. It marked Messika’s 10th anniversary collection, ‘Midnight Sun’, which was inspired by the freedom and extravagance of legendary 1970s nightclubs like Studio 54. Valérie Messika showcased 140 creations, including the “Solar Diva” yellow diamond weighing almost 35 carats.

The 2023 show featured an impressive guest list as well, including Carla Bruni, Ashley Graham, Taraji P. Henson, Nicola Coughlan, and Kelly Rowland. Graham hosted a live broadcast, and the evening ended with a performance by Ava Max.

Expósito has a knack for making headlines in Paris. During last year’s fashion week, she drew attention for a daring see-through black mesh dress with a fuzzy hemline and a wide headband, which earned plenty of praise online.

Her latest Messika look offers a softer, more romantic take on the black dress. It balances elegance with a hint of edge, much like the bold yet refined pieces that have made the jewelry house a fashion week staple. With Paris Fashion Week continuing through early October, there’s a good chance fans will see even more from the actress before the season wraps.
