The next episode of ‘Eternally Yours’ is titled ‘Baby Vampire’ and is set to air on CBS on October 15. It follows a series premiere on October 8 that introduced the vampire comedy in the Thursday slot once held by ‘Ghosts’.

This guide covers the release date, air time, streaming options and a preview of what ‘Eternally Yours’ has in store for its next chapter. It also looks at the creative team behind the series and the early critical response to the pilot.

‘Eternally Yours’ Release Date for the Next Episode

Episode guides list ‘Baby Vampire’ with an original air date of October 15, one week after the pilot aired on October 8. Other tracking sites list the same date for it.

The episodes that follow are titled ‘The Mistake’ and ‘Halloween’, and they are listed for October 22 and October 29. CBS is releasing the series on a weekly schedule.

The show fills the Thursday slot previously held by ‘Ghosts’, which will now premiere its sixth season as part of CBS’s midseason lineup. That makes ‘Eternally Yours’ the network’s lead in for the fall Thursday comedy block.

Air Time and Where to Watch on CBS and Paramount+

CBS lists the series on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, which is 7:30 p.m. Central. Local stations and sports overruns can shift that time, so viewers should check their own listings.

The series airs on CBS and streams on Paramount+. Subscribers on the Paramount+ Premium plan can stream new episodes live as they air on CBS, while viewers on any other plan can watch the day after.

CBS is also available as a free broadcast for viewers with an antenna. An official season trailer was published on August 27 for anyone who wants a refresher before the next episode.

Episode Preview for ‘Baby Vampire’

The official description says Max and Emma try to process their new reality, while Charles attempts to make a new friend at work. The coven also comes together in a crisis.

That picks up from the pilot, in which Max finds his world turned upside down when he discovers the truth about his girlfriend’s mysterious family. The central couple, Charles and Liz, are vampires whose once passionate romance has become a dull routine after 500 years together.

They live in present day Seattle with their ragtag coven, and the arrival of their daughter’s human boyfriend shakes up the household. The Blythes can walk around in daylight, a liberty with vampire lore that is helped by the famously overcast Seattle weather.

Ghosts Creators Behind the Vampire Comedy

‘Eternally Yours’ is created by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, who also showrun the series together. Trent O’Donnell directed the pilot and served as an executive producer. When the pilot order was first reported, TheWrap described the project as a good move for a network with a struggling comedy slate.

Ed Weeks and Allegra Edwards star as Charles and Liz, and the ensemble includes Jaren Lewison, Helen J. Shen, Parker Young, Rose Abdoo, Tristan Michael Brown and Shylo Molina. The series is set apart from ‘Ghosts’ with a different cast of characters and an unconnected narrative world, even though the creative team is the same.

The A.V. Club’s review noted that Port and Wiseman first pitched the idea 11 years ago, and it summed the show up as ‘Ghosts’ with vampires. The review said the series shows promise but questioned why Max learns Emma’s family secret so early. If ‘Baby Vampire’ leans on Charles trying to make a friend at work, tell us in the comments whether that is the right way to test a marriage that has lasted five centuries.
