Phew, we hoped it wouldn’t come to this.
The newest MCU installment Eternals is the worst MCU yet. At least if you ask Rotten Tomatoes, where the movie now holds the score of 63% based on 96 reviews. The movie started with 71% after first early reviews, and then it was the third-worst MCU movie, with only The Incredible Hulk and Thor: The Dark World behind it.
But now, Eternals is behind them. We were recently writing about how Eternals started with mixed reviews, and in the meantime, as the number of incoming reviews was increasing, the score was dropping. Eternals is now only 3% behind Thor: The Dark World, which most of the fanbase holds as the worst MCU movie ever. We’ll see if it’s still gonna be after fans finally see Eternals on November 5.
There is no critical consensus or audience score yet on the movie, so we still need to wait to see if the fans will agree with the critics. Regardless of the lowest MCU score ever, Eternals’ Tomato is still fresh, so to say.
Directed by Chloe Zhao, and starring Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, and many other known stars as Eternals, thousands of years old celestial race which will need to face their mortal enemies Deviants.
