Eternals’ Kingo: “Avengers Have Thor and Spider-Man, But We Have Thena”

Marvel Studios released a new promo video for the upcoming movie Eternals. In the new footage, we can see Kumail Nanjiani’s character Kingo referencing two very well-known MCU characters – Thor and Spider-Man.

“The Avengers have Thor… Spider-Man… but we have Thena.”

This shows that Eternals will have a lot more MCU references except the snap from Avengers Endgame and asking if the table is vibranium, which is something we saw in one of the previous trailers. This new promo also shows Kingo praising Angelina Jolie’s character Thena.

The official synopsis of the movie:

After the return of half the population in Avengers: Endgame (2019) ignites “the emergence”, the Eternals—an immortal alien race created by the Celestials who have secretly lived on Earth for over 7,000 years—reunite to protect humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants.

Directed by Chloe Zhao, Eternals is the third movie in MCU Phase 4, and a star-filled movie starring  Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie.

Eternals is set to be released in theaters on November 5, 2021.
