‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Trailer Confirms Big Rumor Related To Sydney Sweeney’s Character
Euphoria is finally returning for its third season after a four-year wait, and fans are already buzzing over the new trailer. The upcoming season will jump five years ahead from where season two left off, showing the main characters as young adults facing new challenges.
Sydney Sweeney’s character, Cassie, is back and has taken up a surprising new job. In the trailer, she can be seen dressed in a bunny outfit as part of her work as an OnlyFans creator. Her fiancé, Jacob Elordi’s Nate, is not thrilled about it. “I work all day, and my bride-to-be is spread-eagled on the internet,” he says, reflecting his frustration. Showrunner Sam Levinson confirmed to Variety that Cassie and Nate will get married this season, promising an “unforgettable night.”

Other returning stars include Zendaya as Rue, who is now living in Mexico and dealing with debt to Hunter Schafer’s Laurie. Jules, played by Schafer, is studying art and figuring out her future. Alexa Demie’s Maddy works at a talent agency, while Maude Apatow’s Lexi is assisting a showrunner played by Sharon Stone. Fans can also expect to see Eric Dane as Cal, Colman Domingo as Ali, Chloe Cherry as Faye, and Martha Kelly as Laurie back in the mix.
Season 3 will also introduce new characters. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje joins as a drug kingpin who will play a big role in Rue’s life in Mexico. Other new additions include Rosalía, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Marshawn Lynch, and Trisha Paytas. Some familiar faces won’t be returning, though. Barbie Ferreira’s Kat and Storm Reid’s Gia, Rue’s sister, are absent this season.
With the series heading toward its final season, anticipation is high for how Levinson will handle the storylines of these complicated characters. Fans are eager to see the next chapter of their favorite, flawed, and often dramatic lives.
Euphoria season 3 premieres on April 12 on HBO and HBO Max in the United States.
