2. Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles

Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles is a remastered version of the classic 1997 tactical RPG, coming to Switch 2 and other systems in September 2025. It adds new gameplay features and lets you choose a classic mode. If you already own it on Nintendo Switch, you’ll likely get a free upgrade to this new version.
3. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Status: Coming soon
Final Fantasy VII Remake first came out on PS4 in 2020, and later got a better version called Intergrade for PS5 and PC. Now, Square Enix is bringing this upgraded version to Nintendo Switch 2 this winter. It’s a great way to experience the classic story with improved graphics and gameplay on the new console.
4. Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time

This Slow-Life RPG lets you switch between 14 different jobs, like fishing, cooking, and fighting, while exploring a mysterious island guided by a dragon. You can shape the island by building and customizing your town however you want. It’s all about living your own way and uncovering the island’s secrets.
5. Elden Ring Tarnished Edition

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition brings the full game plus new content to Nintendo Switch 2 this year. It’s known for being a great game to play on the go, like on the Steam Deck. Fans hope the Switch 2 version runs just as smoothly and looks great.
6. Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake

7. Disgaea 7 Complete

Status: Coming Soon
Disgaea 7 Complete is coming to the West only on Nintendo Switch 2 this fall, with all past DLC and new content included. It was already out in Japan on other consoles last year. Just a heads up, it’ll be a Game Key Card release, so no physical cartridge here.
8. Deltarune Chapters 1-4

Deltarune Chapters released on June 5, 2025, for both Switch and Switch 2, costing $24.99. If you’ve played the demo or earlier chapters on Switch, you can transfer your save to Switch 2. The Switch 2 version also has a special room with unique mouse controls that aren’t available the same way on other versions.
9. Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition
