Ex-Nickelodeon Star Aims to Lose 50 More Pounds Using Ozempic

Amanda Bynes has given fans an update on her weight loss journey, revealing she has dropped 20 pounds since starting Ozempic.

The former Nickelodeon star, 39, began using the diabetes medication in June and said she hopes to lose another 50 pounds while continuing treatment. Ozempic has become a popular weight loss option among celebrities.

Bynes shared her progress in a candid Instagram video on Wednesday. “I’ve lost 20 pounds so far. I’m so excited about that, to be honest. Also, I want to lose about 50 more pounds,” she said.

She added, “I’m 163 now. I actually shot up on the Ozempic pill, shot up to 180 from 173. So I was able to lose twenty pounds from 180 and now I’m down to 163 on the Ozempic injection. I’m really glad I’m on the injection. It’s really working for me. And I’m trying to lose more weight just to feel skinny and cute. So I will keep taking Ozempic and I just wanted to post about it because I know that I hadn’t made a post about my progress on Ozempic since I posted about it months ago.”

Earlier this year, Bynes shared that she started Ozempic at 173 pounds, aiming to get down to 130.

In addition to her health updates, Bynes recently announced she is joining OnlyFans. According to a source who spoke to DailyMail.com, she plans to use the platform to communicate with fans, share fashion designs, and discuss her experiences on Nickelodeon.

“Amanda was looking into making money and is convinced that OnlyFans will bring some serious cash her way,” the insider said.

“Her intentions are to do this before she seeks any reality show opportunities. She understands the stigma around OnlyFans, but she is determined to make this very safe – nothing naughty. She wants to share some of her future designs with her fans, collaborate with them, and also tell stories to people who don’t know everything about what happened from her past at Nickelodeon. She wants to make it a spot where fans can go and treat it like a meet and greet.”

Bynes officially announced her OnlyFans page on Instagram, writing, “I’m doing OnlyFans to chat with my fans through DM’s. I won’t be posting any sleazy content. Excited to join.” The subscription costs more than $50 per month and currently features mirror selfies.
