‘Expend4bles’ Star Megan Fox (40) Lights Up Social Media With Moody, Blue-Drenched New Photos
Megan Fox has always known how to command attention online, and her relationship with social media has been anything but predictable. The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ and ‘Transformers’ star famously wiped her Instagram account of all past photos and unfollowed every other account, leaving her profile empty for a long stretch.
That quiet period ended in March, when Fox returned with her first photo set of the year. The 5-slide carousel, captioned with a moody line about everything being more beautiful because we are doomed, featured her in an all-black look against a stark white backdrop, and she followed it up with an Instagram Story declaring that she was alive and that new pictures had just dropped.
Now, the actress is back in the spotlight with another round of newly shared photos, and they are among her most atmospheric yet. The images are bathed almost entirely in deep electric blue light, giving them a dreamy, almost underwater quality.
In the first shot, Fox sits in shallow water with her long dark hair falling around her shoulders, one hand raised as droplets spill from her fingertips. She wears a shimmering metallic top paired with light-colored pants that glow under the cool lighting.
The second image is even more dramatic. Fox leans back with her head tilted upward, and one arm stretched behind her, creating a striking silhouette against the dark, glossy surroundings.
These new pictures continue a run of attention-grabbing shoots for Fox. Shortly after her Instagram comeback, a follow-up post reportedly racked up 2.8 million likes within hours, with fans praising the look while others debated how heavily the images had been edited.
She also shared a school-themed photo series shot by photographer Cibelle Levi, posing in a plaid skirt, white shirt, glasses, and thigh-high socks. True to form, she paired that post with another cryptic caption about the double pleasure of deceiving a deceiver.
Fox has long embraced a career that spans acting, modeling and writing. Back in 2023, she was one of the cover stars of the SI Swimsuit Issue, photographed by Greg Swales in the Dominican Republic alongside fellow cover stars Kim Petras, Martha Stewart and Brooks Nader.
The latest images arrive during a busy week for the star. Fox has launched an exclusive paid-content website, MeganFox.world, giving fans a new destination for her photo shoots and giving herself a stake in the business behind them.
The launch also followed a wave of online chatter about her appearance. An older Letterboxd “Four Favorites” interview featuring Fox and ‘Jennifer’s Body’ director Karyn Kusama, filmed a year earlier, began circulating widely this month and sparked plenty of discussion.
Her return to the spotlight comes after a period of significant personal change. Fox and Machine Gun Kelly reportedly ended their relationship in November 2024, and the actress welcomed her daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, before stepping back from public life for a while.
Since coming back, she has clearly been setting the terms of her public image. With more than 24 million followers on Instagram and a new platform of her own, Fox seems determined to share her work on her own schedule and in her own distinctive style.
The response from fans has remained enthusiastic, with many celebrating each new post as a welcome return. Whether these blue-lit images are a teaser for her new venture or simply another creative experiment, they’ve once again proved that a single drop from Fox can dominate the conversation online.
