Ezra Miller Reveals Wildest Thing They Did for Cash
Ezra Miller recently opened up about what they consider the “craziest” thing they’ve done for money: joining Hollywood.
The Flash actor shared the candid admission while answering questions on the street for Happy News Live. When asked about their wildest money move, Miller responded, “Sh**. Being in the acting industry. Hollywood.”
Miller’s career has been marked by both high-profile roles and a series of legal and personal controversies. Back in 2011, during the filming of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Miller was pulled over in Pittsburgh and found with marijuana in their possession.
The initial dr** charges were dropped, but Miller paid $600 in penalties for two disorderly conduct citations. Reflecting on the incident later, they said, “I don’t feel like there’s any need to hide the fact that I smoke p**. It’s a harmless herbal substance that increases sensory appreciation.”
In 2020, a video emerged showing Miller apparently choking a woman at a bar in Reykjavík, Iceland. Variety confirmed the location, and bar staff escorted Miller out after the incident.
A representative later described the situation as a “spontaneous reaction” triggered by teenagers, clarifying that Miller did not strangle the woman but merely “went at her collarbone.”
Miller faced further legal trouble in Hawaii in 2022, including multiple calls to police over minor disputes and an arrest at a karaoke bar.
Controversy also surrounded Miller’s relationship with activist Tokata Iron Eyes. In 2022, the Standing Rock Sioux tribal court issued a temporary protection order citing alleged manipulation and abuse.
Miller denied the claims, and the family later withdrew the request. Some reports, however, described Miller making grandiose messiah, like claims tied to Indigenous revolution, which drew criticism given Miller’s lack of Native ancestry.
In Massachusetts, a mother and her child obtained a temporary harassment order against Miller in June 2022. Allegations included inappropriate behavior toward the child. Miller’s lawyer denied the claims and emphasized that all interactions were brief and supervised.
Finally, Miller faced a felony burglary charge in August 2022 after allegedly taking alcohol from a friend’s home. They later pleaded guilty to trespassing, with other charges dropped, and were given 12 months probation. Conditions included no contact with the victims, mental health treatment, and random screenings.
Miller’s career and personal life have clearly been a mix of success and turmoil. While their confession about Hollywood being the “craziest” thing they’ve done for money is lighthearted, it comes against a backdrop of highly publicized incidents. It’s a reminder that fame can come with intense pressure and scrutiny.
