Amazon Prime has dropped a brand-new trailer for “Fallout” Season 2, taking fans back to the Mojave Wasteland and into the chaotic world of New Vegas. The new season follows Lucy and the Ghoul as they navigate one of the most dangerous and wanted places in the wasteland.

Season 1 ended with Lucy searching for her father, who had betrayed her, while the Ghoul was on a mission to find his family, who might have survived the Great War. According to Amazon Prime, “The new season will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.”

Joining the cast this season is Justin Theroux, who plays the iconic Fallout character Robert House. House is the powerful ruler of the New Vegas Strip, and in the story, he had the Mojave nuked to make sure Vault-Tec succeeded. He also prepares to control the city by keeping his body in a coma so he can rule when he wakes up a century later.

Theroux will be alongside returning cast members Ella Prunell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner.

“Fallout” is produced by Kilter Films, with Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham serving as executive producers. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are the showrunners and also executive producers.

Todd Howard and Bethesda Game Studios, along with James Altman for Bethesda Softworks, are also executive producers. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce the show in partnership with Bethesda.

Season 2 of “Fallout” will premiere on Prime Video on December 17, with new episodes coming out weekly until the finale on February 4.
