Family Guy Takes on Hallmark Movies in New Christmas Special – Trailer Released
Family Guy is returning to Hulu with a new Christmas special, and the streaming service has released the first trailer.
This year, the show is taking a playful jab at Hallmark-style holiday movies. Fans can watch “Disney’s Hulu’s Family Guy’s Hallmark Channel’s Lifetime Familiar Holiday Movie” when it premieres on November 28th on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
The trailer shows the Family Guy characters in a festive makeover, and the episode is clearly designed as a full Christmas special. Last year’s holiday episodes felt more like regular episodes, but this one is going all out with holiday themes and comedy, poking fun at the common tropes seen in Hallmark movies.

The episode is a parody of a Hallmark rom-com with Lois as a exec sent to a small town to “steal” a famous pie recipe only to fall for Peter, a mechanic & pie connoisseur pic.twitter.com/TaKUKUQaWg
Hulu has been releasing holiday-themed episodes for Family Guy each year. After the Halloween special last month, this Christmas episode continues the trend. The show’s full new season will return next year, but fans still have some holiday content to enjoy before then.
The trailer highlights funny and over-the-top situations, showing Family Guy’s classic humor applied to the holiday movie format. The episode promises to combine the series’ signature jokes with seasonal cheer, making it a treat for long-time fans.
