Fan-Favorite ‘WandaVision’ and ‘Agatha All Along’ Character Reportedly To Return in Future Projects

As one of the most iconic “mutants” in X-Men history, Quicksilver has appeared in live-action multiple times, portrayed by two different actors: Evan Peters and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. However, Taylor-Johnson’s version was largely forgettable.
This made ‘WandaVision’s plan to “resurrect” the speedster the perfect opportunity to bring fan-favorite Evan Peters’ Quicksilver into the MCU.
Evan Peters portrayed Quicksilver in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past,’ ‘X-Men: Apocalypse,’ and ‘Dark Phoenix.’ However, his role in ‘WandaVision’ was more complex.
In ‘WandaVision,’ Peters played Ralph Bohner, a former Westview resident controlled by Agatha Harkness through dark magic. With a magical necklace granting him superhuman speed, Bohner posed as Pietro Maximoff to get close to Wanda and uncover how she created the Hex. During the Battle of Westview, he held Monica Rambeau hostage until she freed him from Harkness’ control.
When the ‘Agatha All Along’ teaser hinted at a mysterious new character, many correctly speculated that Ralph Bohner would return. In the spinoff, Bohner, under the alias “Bohnerrific69,” assists Billy Maximoff in uncovering more about his heritage and the events that unfolded in Westview during the anomaly.
Despite his paranoia and delusions, Ralph’s behavior is somewhat understandable given the traumatic experiences he endured.
Evan Peters consistently delivers standout performances, and fans are eager to see more of him in the MCU, hoping his recent appearance isn’t his last. According to popular insider MyTimeToShineHello, it won’t be.
The leaker claims Peters will reprise his role, though not in ‘Agatha All Along.’
It’s tricky to predict which project Evan Peters might appear in next, given the specific nature of his character in ‘Agatha All Along,’ which doesn’t fit into every storyline—unless it’s purely for comic relief.
Fans have already developed several theories. Some speculate that Peters’ Bohner could secretly be Mephisto (unlikely), while others suggest he might actually be a reincarnated Tommy Maximoff (more plausible). If you consider how Billy reincarnated as Billy Kaplan, it’s possible that Tommy could have slipped into Bohner’s body in a similar way.
This twist would allow Peters to return to the MCU as a genuine speedster instead of a fraud. For context, while Wanda’s twin Billy inherited her magical abilities, her other twin Tommy gained his uncle’s super-speed powers and eventually became Speed, a member of the Young Avengers.
