Fan Theory Suggests ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is Already Linked to ‘Spider-Man 4’ – Here’s the Why

A new trailer for ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ was recently released, revealing that the film’s main antagonist will likely be Knull, the King in Black. This revelation has sparked mixed reactions from fans, largely due to Sony’s track record with Marvel characters in recent years.

The premise of ‘The Last Dance’ appears straightforward: Symbiotes begin arriving on Earth in large numbers, apparently fleeing from a powerful force — which seems to be Knull.

Naturally, Venom and Eddie will have to confront Knull, though this seems highly improbable given that Knull is a multiversal, Avengers-level threat — far beyond the capability of a single Symbiote or even a hive to defeat.

As ‘The Last Dance’ marks the final installment in the trilogy, theories have already emerged suggesting that Hardy’s Eddie Brock may die in the film. Alternatively, some rumors suggest that Venom could cross over into the MCU alongside Knull, as ‘The Last Dance’ may not be the only project featuring the character.

Both theories have merit when viewed selectively, but industry insider Daniel Richtman recently highlighted an intriguing detail: the trailer does not show Venom or Eddie in New York, despite the actor reportedly filming reshoots there.

Given Spider-Man’s role as New York’s most popular defender and his connection to Venom, fans have begun speculating that Hardy was actually filming a post-credit scene that directly ties into the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4.’

It’s possible that the trailer simply doesn’t reveal every location featured in the film. After all, New York is listed among the filming locations for ‘The Last Dance’ on IMDb, so scenes set in New York may have just been left out of the trailer.

On the other hand, this could also support the rumors about Venom joining the MCU and clarify the speculation surrounding a post-credit scene, which only grew more complex with the release of the first ‘The Last Dance’ trailer.
