The highly anticipated historical drama House of David is set to premiere on February 27, 2025, exclusively on Prime Video. Ahead of its release, the final trailer has been released, giving viewers a glimpse into this epic retelling of the story of King David, one of the most legendary figures in biblical history.

Created by Jon Erwin, House of David will follow the journey of David, the second king of Israel and Judah, as he rises from humble beginnings to become a ruler of a united kingdom. The show promises to capture the political intrigue, battles, and personal struggles that shaped his life.

Michael Iskander stars as David, leading a talented cast that includes Ali Suliman as King Saul, Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam, and Stephen Lang as Samuel. Other key roles feature Martyn Ford as Goliath, Louis Ferreira as Jesse, Ethan Kai as Jonathan, and Indy Lewis as Mycal.

Production for the series took place in Greece and Calgary, bringing to life the ancient world of Israel with stunning landscapes and detailed set designs. The show is produced by The Wonder Project, a studio led by Jon Erwin and Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten, in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios.
