First Look at ‘One Piece’ Season 3 Teaser Reveals Epic Alabasta Arc
One Piece is moving into one of its biggest storylines yet, and fans are already getting a first taste of what’s coming next.
According to Tudum, Season 3 will take viewers to the desert kingdom of Alabasta. This new chapter is titled “The Battle of Alabasta,” and it brings one of the most loved arcs from the original story into live-action.
The story follows Monkey D. Luffy, played by Iñaki Godoy, and his crew as they travel to help Princess Vivi, played by Charithra Chandran. Her homeland is on the edge of collapse, with a growing conflict that could destroy the entire kingdom.
The stakes are much higher this time. A rebellion is spreading across Alabasta, and behind it is a dangerous enemy. A powerful warlord, Sir Crocodile, is secretly pulling the strings along with his group Baroque Works. Their goal is simple. Take control of the kingdom at any cost.

The creators of the show say this arc means a lot to them and to fans. “For many ONE PIECE fans, Alabasta is the arc that hooked them as nakama for life, combining Oda-san’s incredible talent for world-building and memorable characters in a story that’s thematically rich, emotionally gripping, and visually spectacular,” said co-showrunners Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes. They also shared their excitement about finally bringing this part of the story to life. “Reaching this story has been a dream for our team since the live-action series began… We’ll see you in Alabasta — it’s going to be epic!”
Production for the new season is already underway in Cape Town, South Africa, which will double as the desert setting.
Fans will also see familiar faces return. Alongside Godoy, the main crew is back, including Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar. Several characters introduced earlier will now have bigger roles, and new faces are joining the cast as well. One of the most exciting additions is Portgas D. Ace, played by Xolo Maridueña.
This season is expected to bring more action, tougher choices, and deeper emotional moments as the crew faces one of their biggest challenges so far.
The release is still some time away, with new episodes planned for 2027.
This is a huge moment for the series. The Alabasta storyline is known for its scale and emotional weight, so expectations will be high. If done right, it could take the show to another level.
