First Look at ‘The Testaments,’ the Sequel to ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ Starring Chase Infiniti Released
Hulu is bringing back the world of Gilead with The Testaments, a follow-up to The Handmaid’s Tale, set to premiere in April.
Ann Dowd returns as Aunt Lydia, while Chase Infiniti takes on the role of Agnes. The series also stars Lucy Halliday as Daisy, Rowan Blanchard as Shunammite, Mattea Conforti as Becka, along with Isolde Ardies, Shechinah Mpumlwana, and Birva Pandya. First-look images from the series were revealed at CCXP25 Brazil.

Based on Margaret Atwood’s acclaimed novel, The Testaments explores the lives of a new generation of women growing up in Gilead.
These young women know nothing beyond the strict rules and oppressive culture of the theocracy. As they face arranged marriages and a life of servitude, they will be pushed to find allies—both old and new—to fight for freedom and a chance at a better life.
The series was adapted for television by Bruce Miller, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer.
The production team includes Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, Steve Stark, Shana Stein, Maya Goldsmith, John Weber, Sheila Hockin, Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, and Mike Barker. Barker will direct the first three episodes. The Testaments is produced by MGM Television.
