First Teaser for A24’s ‘Bring Her Back’ Drops – From the Directors of ‘Talk to Me’!

The first teaser for Bring Her Back, the upcoming horror movie from Danny and Michael Philippou, has just been released. Fans of the directors’ hit horror film Talk to Me have been eagerly waiting for their next project, and this film looks like it will bring plenty of scares.

The film stars Sally Hawkins, known for The Shape of Water, along with Billy Barratt, Jonah Wren Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton, Stephen Phillips, Sora Wong, and Liam Damons. While the plot is still mostly a mystery, the first teaser gives fans a glimpse of the eerie and suspenseful atmosphere they can expect.

The story is still mostly a secret, but we now know it follows a brother and sister who discover a scary ritual in the remote home of their new foster mother.

In April 2024, it was announced that the Philippou brothers were working on their next horror film. A24, the studio behind many popular horror movies, is handling distribution worldwide. The movie was produced by Causeway Films, with additional support from RackaRacka, the South Australian Film Corporation, and Salmira Productions.

Filming took place in June 2024 in South Australia, specifically in Adelaide and surrounding areas like Lightsview. The shoot lasted 41 days before wrapping up. In February 2025, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions bought the international distribution rights, except for China, Russia, and Japan.
