Florence Pugh Reportedly Engaged to ‘Peaky Blinders’ Star After Months of Romance Rumors

Florence Pugh may be walking down the aisle soon, as reports claim the Oscar-nominated actress is engaged to fellow actor Finn Cole. According to The Sun, the two 29-year-old stars are preparing for marriage after keeping their relationship mostly private for nearly a year.

Rumors about Pugh and Cole first began in September 2024, when they were spotted together at an afterparty in East London.

Since then, they have kept their romance quiet, focusing on their careers while spending time away from the spotlight.

A source told The Sun, “Finn and Florence have been in a bubble getting to know each other away from the spotlight. They are both putting everything into their careers but have found something special between them.”

Earlier this year, Pugh opened up about her love life during her cover story with Harper’s Bazaar UK for its May issue. Without naming her partner, she confirmed she was in a relationship, saying, “I’m more sympathetic to the people who are in love with me, because it’s not easy! I’m tricky — I’m always busy, I can never make dates.”

She admitted that while her busy schedule makes things difficult, she doesn’t want to let that stop her from building a family. “It’s not good enough for me to ask someone to just accept that. I’ll just end up alone. I don’t want that — I want a family.”

In a previous interview in 2024, Pugh also mentioned she was dating someone, though she avoided giving details. At the time, she explained, “We are figuring what we actually are. And I think for the first time, I’m not allowing myself to go on a roller-coaster. I’m allowing myself to take time to let something evolve and let it be completely real to its core, as opposed to racing into that.”

Before her relationship with Cole, Pugh was linked to photographer Charlie Gooch, with whom she split in 2023. She also had a three-year relationship with actor Zach Braff, which ended in 2022.

During her Harper’s Bazaar interview, she reflected on that difficult breakup, which overlapped with her filming of We Live in Time. She shared, “I think that movie forced me to realize I can’t wait for people anymore. I can’t accept this version of love. I have to help myself.”

Neither Pugh nor Cole has publicly confirmed their engagement yet, but if the reports are true, fans may soon see wedding plans for one of Hollywood’s brightest young stars.
