Florence Pugh Talks Reuniting with Julia Louis-Dreyfus in ‘Thunderbolts*’: “I get to talk to her about random sh*t”
Thunderbolts* is one of the most exciting upcoming movies in the MCU. It will feature a team of former villains and anti-heroes, similar to DC’s Suicide Squad, who are now trying to do better in the MCU.
The movie will also introduce Sentry, one of Marvel’s most powerful characters, played by Lewis Pullman.
We already know most of the team members. David Harbour will return as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker (U.S. Agent). Olga Kurylenko will reprise her role as Taskmaster, and Florence Pugh will return as Yelena Belova, the MCU’s new Black Widow.
The movie will also feature Julia Louis-Dreyfus returning as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Valentina is smart, manipulative, and always has her own agenda, working behind the scenes to get what she wants. She’s unpredictable, often playing both sides to her advantage.
The latest teaser trailer revealed that Valentina is behind the purchase of the Avengers Tower, and rumors about the movie suggest that the characters’ goals in the MCU might not be entirely good.
Florence Pugh recently shared her excitement about working with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, mentioning how happy she is to collaborate with the legendary actress, both for the movie and beyond.
I get to work with Julia again and I get to learn from her again and I get to talk to her about random sh*t again, it just makes me feel very, very happy.

Recent rumors suggest that the team will eventually turn against Valentina. Yelena, U.S. Agent, Ghost, and Taskmaster are said to be sent by Valentina on a mission to eliminate a target in a vault. However, when they realize they’ve been set up to fail, they team up to take down their boss.
