‘Forbidden Fruits’ First Teaser Hits: Lili Reinhart, Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, and Alexandra Shipp Bring the Sinful Heat!
The first teaser for Forbidden Fruits is out now, and it looks wild.
Shudder dropped the short clip today, giving us a quick peek at a secret witch cult hiding in a mall store after closing time.
This new horror movie follows a group of young women who work at a place called Free Eden. One of them secretly leads a dark, women-only group in the basement, along with two close friends. Trouble starts when a new employee shows up and calls out the fake friendship, pushing everyone to face their real issues before things turn deadly.

Lola Tung, Lili Reinhart, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp, and Emma Chamberlain lead the cast. This marks Emma Chamberlain’s very first acting job in a movie. Gabrielle Union also joined the project later. Meredith Alloway directs the film, her first full-length one. She wrote the script with Lily Houghton, who turned her own stage play into this story.
Diablo Cody is one of the producers, along with Mason Novick and others at MXN Entertainment. The screenplay landed on the 2023 Black List for best unproduced scripts. They filmed everything in Toronto. Shooting started in March and finished in April. Gabrielle Union came on board in April. Shudder and The Independent Film Company will bring the movie to theaters sometime in 2026.
