Former WWE Tag Team Champion Bobby Mo Passes Away, Cause of Death Revealed
Bobby Horne, known in the wrestling world as Bobby Mo, has passed away after a struggle with a blood infection and pneumonia. The news was shared on Facebook by Book Pro Wrestlers and WWE Hall of Famer Leilani Kai, who asked fans to keep him in their prayers.
“It breaks my heart to hear that Bobby Horne, better known to wrestling fans as Sir Mo of Men on a Mission, has passed away,” Leilani wrote. “… Rest in peace, my friend. Thank you for every laugh, every kind word, and every night we shared on the road. You’ll be missed by all of us who knew you.”
Horne had faced health challenges in recent years, including complications from a kidney transplant in 2018. In the past few months, he had been hospitalized in intensive care due to pneumonia and a blood infection.
Bobby Mo rose to fame in the 1990s when he joined Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation. He gained recognition as part of the tag team Men On A Mission alongside Mabel, also known as Viscera or Big Daddy V. The team captured the WWE Tag Team Championship in 1994, although their reign was short-lived.
After Mabel won the King of the Ring in 1995, Bobby took on the name Sir Mo and supported his partner during Mabel’s feud with The Undertaker. Men On A Mission left WWE in 1996, and Bobby retired from professional wrestling in 2007.
Bobby Mo is remembered for his contributions to wrestling and for the camaraderie he shared with fans and fellow wrestlers.
