Fran Drescher, 68, Plays Ringmaster of Glam in Top Hat Temptation at Actor Awards 2026

Fran Drescher made a bold fashion moment at the 32nd Actor Awards in Los Angeles on March 1. The former SAG-AFTRA president stepped onto the red carpet in a dramatic look that mixed classic showbiz glamour with playful style.

She wore a strapless black gown covered in sequins and paired it with a soft pink feather wrap. The outfit stood out even more thanks to a black top hat, which sat over her hair styled in a low bun. She finished the look with vintage-style earrings and a small diamond Hamsa pendant, a symbol tied to her Jewish faith.

The event took place at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall, where Drescher greeted photographers with a smile and even tipped her hat while posing.

She was joined at the ceremony by her former husband, Peter Marc Jacobson. The two ended their marriage in 1998 after more than two decades together, and Jacobson later came out as gay. Even after their split, they stayed close friends.

In a January interview with People, Drescher joked about bringing him along to public events, saying, “I take [Jacobson] to everything, and I don’t really care. I have a gay ex-husband – live with it!” She also reflected on their long history together, adding, “But I’ve been with him since I was 15. Who can compete with that? And over the years, he grew tremendously. He’s not the same person. Neither one of us are who we were when we were married.”

Her appearance came after she stepped down from her leadership role at SAG-AFTRA in 2025 and supported Sean Astin in his successful run for president.

This year also marked the official change of the SAG Awards name to the Actor Awards, a shift meant to highlight performers honoring each other.
