Best known as the author of Hellboy, Mike Mignola has become a beloved comic book artist and is now a living legend. This is why his stories, even if they are not part of the main Hellboy series, are always popular.
Such is the new Frankenstein series, which is part of the larger Hellboy universe, but is not directly related to the main series. A new issue of the series is coming out soon.
Frankenstein: New World – The Sea of Forever #3 is coming out on April 30, 2025, and Dark Horse Comics has provided us with a preview of the upcoming issue.

Peter Bergting is credited as the artist on this issue, with Mike Mignola, Christopher Golden, and Tom Sniegoski being credited as writers. In this story, Frankenstein will have to face a legendary creature, as the official synopsis reveals:
A legendary creature threatens Frankenstein and Lilja below the water’s surface, while an evil force above infects everything around it. Mike Mignola, Christopher Golden, Tom Sniegoski, and Peter Bergting return to the New World that Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. gave their lives to save.
