Cole Sprouse once spoke about his early days on Friends, sharing how tough it was for him to work with Jennifer Aniston when he was only seven years old.

The comments came from an interview he gave to the New York Post, where he looked back on his time playing Ben, the son of Ross Geller.

Sprouse appeared in only a few episodes of the show, but the experience stayed with him for years. He explained that being around the cast was exciting, but it was Aniston who made him especially nervous.

He admitted he had a huge childhood crush on her, which made it hard to stay focused. In his words, “I was infatuated… I’d get all bubbly and forget my lines and completely blank… It was so difficult.”

Even though he struggled to keep his cool, Sprouse said the job was a great experience. He remembered everyone being kind and welcoming, even though the size of the production felt overwhelming to him as a kid. He said stepping onto the set felt huge and intimidating because he was surrounded by actors who were already very famous.

Sprouse also mentioned that he hadn’t seen much of the cast since filming ended. He joked that saying hello would be easy, but added that he looks completely different now. He said that if he still looked the same as he did back then, “that’d be a little disconcerting.”

Over the years, Sprouse has also shared that growing up in the spotlight came with its own challenges. He has talked openly about the difficult parts of being a child actor and how it shaped his relationship with fame.
